Diving

Description

We have a full service dive shop in town offering daily dive trips and so much more!

Catalina Islands 8:45am – 1:45pm
Certified divers: 1 dive – $85 + $20 equipment rental (special $270 for 4 dives in two days)
Non-certified divers: 1 dive – $150 (includes resort course)

You will explore several dive sites around the Catalina Islands – known for their pristine waters that are teaming with life. Ten miles north of Tamarindo Beach, the Catalinas offer some of the most exciting diving in the world. About a 45 minute boat ride along the coast brings you to the Catalinas, a group of volcanic islands created millions of years ago. Keep your eye on the horizon along the way you may see turtles, dolphins, rays leaping from the water, and occasionally humpback whales. Upon arrival, your multilingual Divemaster/Instructor will explain everything about the two dives and guide you along the way. The Catalinas have 10 dive sites – different ones are chosen each day according to the sea conditions. The more dives you go on, the more spots you’ll get to discover! Meeting place for the dive is at El Pescador Restaurant on Tamarindo Beach at 8:30am.

Cabo Velas (Local dive): 8:30am – 12:00pm 1 dive – $60 + $20 equipment rental
Diving off the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica can only be described as spectacular! Discover the great marine life in Cabo Velas, one of the great diving spots of Tamarindo Bay. Meeting place for the dive is at El Pescador Restaurant on Tamarindo Beach at 8:15am.
